My daughter, Lisa, with a complete power steering kit for the Ford 800 series.  Kits for other makes and models of tractors are similar.  We offer power steering kits for the following:

Ford- 8N, NAA, 600 Series, 800 Series, 1000 Series and industrial

IH- 300 Utility, 330 Utility and the 350 Utility.

Oliver- Super 55 and the 550

John Deere- 650, 750, 850, 950 and the 1050 Utility

 The steering unit is very easy to install and included are excellent instructions with pictures.   When installed, the steering will be responsive making your tractor very easy to steer.   As far as payment, I prefer either a company check, or a  personal check made out to Jackson Power Steering, LLC and sent at the time of order. To order a steering unit, just email sales@jacksonpowersteering.com or call 620-357-6546 and ask for Roland Jackson.  The time from order to shipment will be two to three weeks or less with the steering unit shipped UPS. I will call or email you before the unit is shipped so you will know when to expect it.

]]> http://jacksonpowersteering.com/2009/04/30/complete-power-steering-kit/feed/ 0 Vane Loader Pump http://jacksonpowersteering.com/2009/04/29/loader-pump/ http://jacksonpowersteering.com/2009/04/29/loader-pump/#comments Wed, 29 Apr 2009 11:27:48 +0000 Roland Jackson http://jacksonpowersteering.com/?p=512 vane-loader-pumpI recommend a vane pump over the gear pump for several reasons.  First, the vane pump is very efficient, pumping more gallons per engine revolution then the gear pump.  Also the vane pump is much better in cold weather as the vanes do not come out to pump oil until the spinning of the turning shaft forces them out.  By that time the engine has started.  What that means is that the battery and starter didn’t have to start a cold engine and pump oil at the same time.  You can reconize a vane pump by it’s distinctive “whine” .  If taken care of, it will outlast a gear pump.  Vane pumps come in different gallons per minute.  I will size the vane pump to match your tractor’s engine so the loader is very responsive without lugging the engine.
