I just wanted to tell and show you that my cousin Bernie and I did get the power steering unit installed on my 860 Ford tractor with a loader attached.  We finished it last week and it works great.  I can only operate the tractor with one arm so having power steering is a real benefit.  Hauled the tractor down to my farm now and can’t wait to start using it there.  We were able to put it on without removing the loader which made the installation a little unhandy but eventually everything worked out.  Thank you for your advice while we were doing the installation.

About 15 years ago I bought a one of your PS conversion kits for my 850, which at that time had a mounted loader. About 5 years ago my son and I moved that loader to my 841 with its factory PS. I contacted you at the time with the question of how to continue powering your PS apparatus.

As these photos show, I mounted a power steering pump, salvaged from a 1962 Ford Galaxy 500 and plumbed your controller from that pump.

I’m happy to report that, while not always being as responsive as I’d like, this setup works just fine.

Thanks again for the extra brackets. (Great Service) Very proud to have your JPS Steering Unit on my 1952 8N. For the longest time I ask many people in the area if Power Steering was possible on my 8N tractor. All possibilities would add lots of hardware which would take away from the looks of my 8N tractor.  When I came across your internet site I knew this was the product I needed on my tractor. I still remember the first time I turn the steering wheel with the JPS Steering Unit.

(Awesome) That was about ten years ago the feel is still there today.

Hi Roland , sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner, but I wanted to give the tractor a good workout before I evaluated it. I was a little concerned the loader might lose some capability. It still has plenty of lifting power. It had too much before anyway. The steering is really effortless, even with a bucket full of damp topsoil. So , I am pleased with the new power steering. At first I was sceptical if it would be worth the time, effort and expense. The added maneuver ability is really great.
